TacMed - Emergency Trauma Medicine

This is a hands-on course that covers TacMed - Emergency Trauma Medicine, which includes the immediate treatment of gunshot wounds, stab/puncture wounds, airway control, and much more. Students will learn how to apply life-saving treatment to both themselves as well as another individual.

Medical Items covered:

Tourniquets, Chest Seals, Compressed/Hemostatic Gauze, Nasopharyngeal Airway Adjuncts, Oropharyngeal Airway Adjuncts, Emergency Blankets

It is highly recommended to not wear anything you do not want stained as we use fake training blood that has been known to stain clothes.

WHAT TO BRING

-Clothes you do not mind getting stained with fake blood

-If you have an IFAK or medical equipment you want to bring to familiarize yourself with, please feel free to bring it.

-If you bring a concealed firearm, please KEEP IT CONCEALED. This is NOT a firearms course and we will not be covering anything firearm or defensive weapon related.
